Smile Has anyone expirience of CATIA V5?

    Hi,

I'm about to start milling my Catia parts in my new cnc-mill. I have drawn a quite simple part (see atttaced file). Is there anyone who has converted catia parts to some g-code file or similar that could be run in MACH2? All help is welcome so I can see some progress in my expeirments.

    Best regards

    Hi mitak_t

Thanks a lot, I apologise for my late answer. I have just bougt a license for my mach2 software, So now I can see the hole code in the mach software. It's really great that it's possible to convert my catia drawings to mach-code. I would really aprecciate if you could tell me what steps are required to come to this point after the part is drawn, because I'm a novise in catia but want's to learn as much as possible of it, so I will be able to make new stuff later on. I have experimented with it a bit but with no success. Is it requierd to make the part in several steps (different codes), or could i t be made in one code? What is the most practical?

    Best regards from a newbiee
