Is there anyone who have this or know what other post could be used? Maybe some one have configured a standard default post? For MCx, but maybe earlier posts can be converted. Thanks, Andy |

| If you have an existing post that works ( from V9 and such ) then you can convert it for use in MCX. There's a C-Hook that comes with the MCX install called " Updatepost.dll ". Run that and select your earlier version post to convert. To get to the c-hooks hit 'alt + C' or go to Settings > Run user application, then select the c-hook. Also, if you have MCX ( which would mean "recent purchase or upgrade" ) then your dealer should be able to provide you with one..... or at least cusomize one for you.

Thanks for the advise. I just got MCX and have not used V9 before. I got MCX installed on a computer along with 2 lathes and a mill off an ebay auction and the dealer is not happy to support. I can do basic stuff with the default post, but canned cycles don't work. If I deselect them I get horrendously long code with ridiculous pecks, so at the moment I write the code by hand. I checked with Centroid but they discontinued MC a long time ago. If any one have some idea on how to make the canned cycles work with any Centroid, (M400 for example), please let me know. Thanks, Andy |
