Thought I'd post something here as there's not much action in the sign forums.
One simple sign cut for my son's door.
This was an old scrap of MDF that was over-size by 1mm due to having had some moisture on it at some point. It came up really fluffy when cut, no surprises there...
I decided to spray-bomb it blue anyway, then hand painted the white and sanded the top surface with a hard sanding block to sharpen up the letters.
I kinda like the grungy look of it, and for my first v-carved object I'm happy.
I've read quite a few of Joe's posts on here and eyeing up the sand blasting idea for a farm name sign for a neighbor... Watch this space.
