How many of you get Holiday/End of Year Bonuses??

I was just curious about how many of us working stiffs get Holiday Bonuses/End of Year Bonuses???

Usually get a Christmas Bonus of at least a weeks pay..........But at this point, in this economy, I'm not expecting anything and happy to still have a job!

Depends, last year I got a great bonus. Management closed the other fabrication shop and not the one I work at, so I find it a bonus to be employed. As far as a $$$ bonus, no.
Last year the ones of us that did not get laid of had a prime rib lunch, this year I hear its a 6" sub from subway, I don't think I will be there, if my company is that desperate I will just go to subway and get a footlong.

Last year it was cash. This year a gift certificate for groceries. A sign of the times ?
Was happy to get it. Perks are perks, not entitlements.

Business didn't drop off from the previous year but no growth for the first time in many years.

yes... I don't know if counts as a holiday bonus but every quarter we get a bonus check. sometimes its not much but sometimes its well over a weeks pay. I work with/for good people.

My company did real well this year and gave out some large bonuses.

no bonus this year and we're all getting a "temporary" 10% pay cut for 2010. They tried to make it acceptable by telling us everybody is getting the cut and they are implementing a productivity bonus that can make up for it. The only problem is, some of our work in other divisions of the company have federal and state mandates on pay and cannot be cut by law. We can't wait to see what develops with this.

I retired 3 years ago and was still invited to the Christmas party but I didn't get a bonus.

first 9 months on the job and I got a good cash bonus

We used to get a turkey sandwich over the pub as our bonus at Christmas, no joke!

I get a bonus everey friday
