I don't understand the comment, "There is no choice,." Why is there no choice? because it is getting rammed down our throats? Because we will have a recession with out it? Oh my, I shudder at the thoughts that run through my head on choice, and responsibility. We're in a recesion and it will get worse with or without this bailout. Only thing is, with the bail out, the rich wll be richer and we'll be poorer. Double digit inflation is around the corner. Time to convert your savings into gold.

And I don't support the bail-out, but it is probably nessessary. I just thank our republican cabinate who have been in office for the last 8 years. Good job guys!

I really don't see any choice. If they don't get bailed out I believe our whole financial system may very well collapse. We can't allow that to happen.
But it does leave a very bad taste in my mouth that the next three or four generations of Americans may well be paying for this while the CEO's that brought this on will/have walked away with millions in their pockets.
And the government officials that hold just as much responsibility have their millions and get reelected.

I was doing the math the other night. They are saying 700 billion will cost us all $2300. So if the national debt is 9 trillion I figure we each owe about $27,000.
