Which Tools do you use the Most?

1. Dremel or Similar cutting bits, Any Size

2. Solid Carbide, Single Flute, 1/16"-1/2" Dia. for Aluminum

3. Solid Carbide, Single Flute, 2mm-16mm Dia. for Aluminum

4. Solid Carbide, Single Flute, 1/16"-1/2" Dia. for Plastic

5. Solid Carbide, 3/16"-1/2" Dia. Moldmaking Runner Cutter

6. Other

5/16ths M2 grade HSS. 2 1/2"s long. I get mine from Enco, .59 cents each.

3/4" end or bull mills for hogging, sometimes larger depending on the part. For really fine stuff I obviously need smaller cutters. I do use quite a few 0.150" end mills for milling 1/4" holes.

I was asked by a friend/member to see if I might be able to get a good deal on the smaller range of cutters folks here in the Zone used most.

As well as checking the "Other" box, could you be so kind to leave a brief note as to the size/cost of your "Cutter of choice".

Most of the mills I use are big, in the 1"+ range. Triple flute for aluminum, more for steels.

I do a lot of art work, so my tool size is small ( 0.4 mm ). some times they break, LOL
