Do you have problems loading cnczone.com?

Today I've spent 30 min trying to post the message, I can't even reload the page. Is anyone besides me getting these messages:

"Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /home/cnczone/public_html/classifieds/inc_ads.php on line 26 I cannot connect to the database"

    Is my connection broken?

    Dear "fellow sufferers",

I could be wrong, and it could just be that traffic on the web is reaching overload, but CNCZone does seem to be getting increasingly clunky.

Tools, Internet Options, Delete Cookies, Clear Files, Clear History seems to help a bit, but the Zone seems to have gone a bit down hill in the last few months.

    Still loads of fun though...

    Best wishes,

    Martin

Never have any problems at home (Comcast). At work, this site hangs constantly and is nearly unusable, while all other sites seem to work fine.

Has anyone kept track of what time of day it occurs. I am Pacific Daylight Time and it seems to occur to me around 5 to 8 pm which I figured was because the great bulk of users are East of me and load the site down when they are home from work and have eaten.

In a different thread a week or two ago Paul did mention upgrading the system; I guess it is a penalty of being successful and popular.
An open mind is a virtue...so long as all the common sense has not leaked out.

I see it all the time. It`s slow just now at 0800 hrs GMT.Still think it`s a very good site if you need technical info on controls. Some excellent contributors with a wealth of technical experience and none of the crap you get on some other sites.

Frequent slowdowns and hangups. Fails to load. Or I have to reload the page to get the forums to list.

Will keep track of exact time from now on and report it.
