The CncGcoder is Hanheld unit with pre-installed CncGcoder software, that uses an RS-232 serial cable.

what does it do that a few feet of cable and your PC won't do? Almost $700 seems awfully expensive.

Knew about them but was told that a Lap Top with CAD/CAM was a lot better when first starting out in CNC Programming.

Fanuc has had these for quite some time now.

Thankful that I went the Lap Top Route LOL.

    Cheers!!!!!!!!!!

I have seen these units that Fanuc technicians use. What I don't like is not having a full keyboard to name downloaded to our filing system format we use ( ie: AB-12 ) etc. Other than that they would be okay as they are rugged enough for the shop enviroment and would outlast a laptop.
If it ain't broke? Your not trying
