What is you preferred workshop music source? I'm too much of a workshop newbie to listen to music, I need 100% of my brain power to make sure I don't damage something or damage myself. At my desk, I like to listen to XM online. |

| I've grown tired of the same songs over and over again (or just plain crappy music) on FM. I just hooked up my iPod to the shop system...Now I can listen to talk, comedy or whatever I am in the mood for... Rock out with your smock out! |

Thought I would share this little trick. I used to stream from Yahoo but it was going to be blocked so I burnt all my MP3’s on a DVD. Now I have 5 CD’s each with over 20 hours of music that can be played at my workstation.Independent CNC Programmer Home Page: http://www.ctcn.net/~3kings |

| I tend not to have music play when I am using tools that can cut things (ie me). Being a musician for many years I find that when music is playing I find myself paying more attention to it that what I am suppose to be doing. As a result I find it much more safe to have nothing playing. If I am doing some non-powertool task I listen to a wide variety jazz, pop, rock, country, bluegrass, instrumental, etc... depends on the mood I happen to be in. |
