Hi I am doing a student research project to compare the quality of Low Cost Countries machineries: If someone knows an index for quality standards (like number of engineers, lifetime,...), please let me know. Otherwhise please give me a feedback about the quality of Machinery in LCCs. |

| I am here in China. i can't vote. but i bet, It is China..... I once worked in three factories located in different provinces. We have the capability to make best machines, best products. But...................almost all customers think made in china means low price. Higher price can not get orders because there are many many supplier here ,there' always one can quote you lower price. And most time we make the machine according to how much the money you pay. (in spite of those unreliable suppliers) |

| None. My machine is a clone built in china. Good castings, but every corner was cut. Holes cut for M10 with M8 hardware. Pennies were saved on those bolts, and it DRASTICALLY lowered the quality, backlash was a joke....I bet someone was glad they saved the 5 cents to use the right size bolt on an 1800.00 machine. And that is only the beginning. Learned my lesson. I would get a true Rong Fu I suppose, but German machines are quite nice. The USA makes some of the most accurate in the world...but price is sky high and we wont export them (military/security reasons). My local shop has a machine with gps locators installed within (worldwide lojack), if it is plugged in outside our borders the Navy Seals come in and destroy it-no joke. Just dont want that kind of accuracy being used for the wrong reason. |

Because I am from a poor country, I bought a relatively cheap chinese SUDA cnc machine. Bad choice. Starting with the serial cable which didnot work, to the electronics, that machine cannot work. It never finishes a toolpath and has a lot of comunication problems between the software (TYPE3) and the hardware. The SUDA people aint helping me to resolve the problems. They just say be patient, but it has been 6 weeks now. I have to pay my loan to the bank... SUDA made me broke. Since I told them I want my money back I haven't heard a word of them. They know there is an ocean between China and Central America, and they play with that. So be very carefull when buying |

| "We have the capability to make best machines, best products." So why don't you? So far the only Chinese thing I 'm satisfied with is "Stir fry" ![]()

| Man... thats interesting that Brazil is there, I'm brazilian and I tell you something manufacturing here is not low cost at all. Quality is definitely good but there is no way to compare to China in terms of cost, maybe Singapore... I recently had to make just 100 parts of a aluminium clamp, turned and milled, and before I made some bicycle parts as well. I tried a lot of manufacturers here more then 30, none of them had a price that compares to China and that's considering import tax, delivery costs and all that. The price was still about 40% cheaper. In terms of finishing and quality of machining its the same what it will say its your needs and drawings, china manufacturers know their machinery and knows what finish, tolerances etc... that they can get and if you need more then what they can make it they just refuse to produce the part and say they are not capable of manufacturing. But this if you are talking about manufacturing, I dunno I see people talking about machines, low cost for manufacturing. The title doesn't say what low cost... Still brazilian Romi machines are really good from what I know. I don't own one but I have used services on their machines. |
