    Question dxf conversion

    Hello all ,

I am the newbie. Looking for the easiest way to convert my completed pcm files to a jpeg or bitmap to e-mail to new customers some of my already completed projects. My customers do not understand the concept of the pcm format. I have been a fabricator for over 30 years and new to the file end of the plasmacam workings. Any help would be appreciated. I have downloaded a free trail program that says it will convert my dxf files to jpeg. I NEED HELP ! Please

Have you tried the print option, with print-to-file?

If your running Windows (XP, etc...) then you already have everything you need to create a screenshot of what's on your monitor.

    1) Make sure you can see everything you want to be in the screenshot, on your monitor, then press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard (see screenshot below).

    2) Open "Microsoft Paint", then "Edit" (top menu dropdown) then "Paste", that will paste everything that was on your PC/Monitor when you last pressed the "Print Screen" button (step #1)

    3) Crop & Save As.. while still inside MS-Paint.

    Your welcome,

Sometimes the no-frills software (MS-Paint), is all that's really needed for screenshots.

For the best quality screenshots, do everything the same, only when you go to save the screenshot/image inside MS-Paint, "Save As..." a .png image.

The .jpeg would be faster to upload, when sending emails, etc...
