Plasmacam shuts the computer off

I hope someone can help. I have a plasmacam 4x4 dhc and when I initalize it it shuts the computer off. I have tried 2 diffrent computers and the same results each time. help.

Are you using a laptop? Do you have a dedicated 110v outlet for the computer seperate from your machine? I bet the second question is your problem.

Sorry you loose the bet. Running a quad processor desktop win xp 4 gig ram, Table is on seperate circuit pluged into a clairafier conditioner. and yes i have unhooked the conditioner to make shure that was not the problem. I did speak with plasmacam late friday evening and they thik it is a faulty controller. It stoped doing it and is throwing communications errors up now at random times. Yes i have tried a diffrent computer.

That is really good news. I wonder how old your machine is. A few years ago PC requested that we all send our controllers back for a free upgrade. Don't know exactly what that was. I haven't had that problem. Let us know once you work the bugs out.
