    Question plasmacam ~ Everlast plasmacutter/mig/tig

I am having difficulty installing an everlast 40amp dc mig/tig/plasmcutter to my plasma cam ... Is it possible (instead of hardwiring into the base machine) to just hardwire into the plamsma torch handle in my head it seems more logical as this would not void the warratny and allow for the plasma cutter to be moved without having to disconect any wires other than th torch handle if it is possible and someone has done this please lead me in the right direction and if it is not possible please instruct me on how to hook this particular plasma cutter up to the table controls as the inside of this thing looks nothing at all like the one in the tutorial videos.... thank you any advice at all is appreciated .... pressed for time and don't want to screw my investments ... thak you again

Is the Everlast a high frequency start unit? Most of them are......be very careful with your installation, shielding and grounding techniques with this system....I would check with PlasmaCam directly for proper interface procedures.
