Software and cutting head out of whack.

Had a strange sensation of dread today. I was cutting a 'used' sheet and was placing my object on the screen to match the cutting head placement.
We've all done this before; Move the cutter to a place on the sheet and moved the pattern to it.

As is my habit, I used the 'move to' to several points on the pattern just to double check that I'm not going to cut into a previously cut place. The cutter was way off!

Did the re-boot thing and initialized the PCam and it was still off by as much as an inch.

I gave up and moved on to another project. Tomorrow, I'll spend some more time looking into this - armed with any suggestions anyone may have.

I guess it just needed a little rest.

    Everything is back to normal.

What was the phase of the moon last night?
