Ordered two E Stop buttons from Amazon, one for the machine and one for the computer area.

I updated the pricing on the rails as they priced the wrong parts.

    E Stop Buttons: $11.70 shipped.

    Total So Far: $1,600.34

I plan to order the steel on friday or Saturday and build the table this weekend.

So got the steel ordered this morning, it was only $15 more to have them cut it so I had IMS prep it for me.

I also got the steppers and controller today in the mail. Grainger messed up and did not get the bushings out yesterday even though I paid overnight sat delivery. so I will have to wait for tuesday to mock the machine up, Ill spend tomorrow working on the electronics and computer setup.

I also plan to throw a layer of paint on it.

Monday i will get the sheet metal for the bottom of the water table and the flat stock for the slats.

You can see I changed the design a little as I want the water table to have full bleed cut so the side rails are at the full width.
I also made the bottom rails closer to the bottom as I plan to use the bottom for storage.

For the water tank I have a plastic 55 gallon drum that was used for veggie oil. I plan to clean it out and use that as my tank.

I just had a panic as the back wheel was a good 1" off the ground, the house I am working in was built in the 1940's so there is almost nothing level anymore in it.

I measured all the corners and came to less than 1/16" off so that was not it.

I then put the level on it and the floor raises up about 2" towards the back and not even across the back wall.

Here you can see how much it took to level it and now all corners are touching the ground.

I am debating putting a screw type leveler on each corner so once it is moved into place I can raise it up and level it.

Decided to use a old 2U server of mine, P4 2.8GHz with integrated filter screens.

It will be mounted under the water table.

It ended up being about $160 cut to size. I spent another 60 on other steel for temporary gantry.

Tomorrow I will be buying the material for the slats and the water table bottom.

I like the simplicity. Any chance we can get a picture of the tools you are using to square it all up, etc? I wouldn't mind making one next

I just used a few framing squares and clamps. also a ratchet strap to square it up before welding.

Just got the machine to take windows XP. The bios battery was dead causing havoc.

just spotted your regular update of the first post with running tally. Good idea!
I've been watching your build from the side lines for a while now. Keep up the good work.
Shouldn't be too long at this rate!

Thanks, I am going to try to get the water table welded and slats in today as I am still waiting on the bearing bushings from grainger.

I got the computer working last night after fighting with it for 4 hours, this thing is screaming fast! I will probably load a copy of alibre design and move my license to it.

Also picked up a project box for the controller board to mount in, this also will have a filter screen. I plan to use a Keyed switch for the machine main power.
