Hi guys! I'm muddle-headed about plasma cutter types.
I think there are plasma cutter with HF start. Can a HF start cutter be a pilot arc?
Moreover there are non HF cutter. which is their correct name?

So, last question: what's a good choice for CNC home made use?

I have an HF plasma cutter which start only with the torch in contact with the steel sheet. I'm haveing much trouble with it, too much electrical noises make stepper move on each start!
