| Components from large pen plotter? I have been looking at CNC routers and plasma cutters for two years now. Would like to build a small plasma cutter to start with, around 36" x 36". Can any of the parts fron a HP Draftmaster plotter be used. These plotters are no longer used (lots out there in surplus) and mine contains alot of 3/16" aluminum from the stand, servos (I think) to drive the pen and the roller, machine screws, etc. Are the drivers too weak to move gantry and z? From looking where I could without a teardown, the servo was from Superior. Kevin |
