No go motors

Well I finally got to play with my plasma table today. I hooked up the
all of the wires and connectors, and tried to jog the unit, nothing
will happen. I have the psc-650, thc-1000 box and the new servo
cards. (CandCNC stuff)

When I disconnect the encoders the motors will run away, and once
plugged back in they stop (the geckos do fault out). Once I reset the
thc box and try to jog I get a twitch on the x axis, not much, just
enough to hear it and only once. The step and direction lights flash
on the thc box like they should when I try to jog on the key board.

If I shut down Mach and leave all of the drives on the motors will move
from the signals the computer sends out.

What am I to do???
