## Help anyone##Win CNC Problem

I am having a problem in WIN CNC with my y axis win cnc error Low limmit on y.{Soft limit's off or on makes no difference} X and Z are working fine but the machine does not move on the y axis just sits there and makes growling noises as if you were trying to force the Gantry past the end of the table stop. Changed the lead wire to the stepper and replaced it with the x-axis wire and it moves around fine.Anyone have any ideas im not sure if this is a setting problem or if my IO controller card is screwed. Oh i also uninstalled and re-installed the controlling software and removed and reinstalled the controller card with no success.

long time no talk,
It sounds like your limit switch may be staying on. Is the red light for the limit lit on the screen? I also had a problem with mine where the connector that plugs on the motor had begun to melt and sometimes the motor would do what you are describing or it would stop in the middle of program. Look at the connector on the motor to see if it has a dark spot or any signs of overheating.
