    Default 5x5 table

Just finishing a 5x5 table. I had some motors and a g540 so i decided to go with the mp3000 ethernet box. I also got the command cnc linux computer. Its a little weird not having Mach3 but i think its a good thing for the long term.

Great looking table. Did you machine the gantry end plates yourself? Is the gantry cross piece extruded aluminum or steel?

Thanks. I did machine the end plates. The gantry is 1/8 wall steel tubing.

Dave, looks great! Is that a different gear rack, or a machined spacer between the rack and linear rail?

Thanks. The rack comes from these guys PRO Gear Rack, 39" (1 meter) | CNCRouterParts. Its easier to install all the holes are pre drilled.

I always like seeing your post's Dave, another top notch job!
It was one of your first builds that gave me the inspiration to build my own machine 3 yrs ago.
