Hello there just joined got 2.projects on the go 1 is me lathe and milling machine combined cnc conversion has anyone converted a c1 axminster before

You might want to try one of the other forumns like this one. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/benchtop-machines/

Not to say some of it doesn't cross over or that there isn't any interest here but cnc plasma has seperate issues from cnc milling and you'll get more advice where it's more closely related.
