Hi, I was wondering if anyone know of a self standing PIC cnc unit that runs similar to the CNC machine that Sears sells. No PC required, just plug in your mmc or sd card enter a few parameters and cut away! Just wondering if anyone has done this yet. I could see it being done with PIC control and an SD interface. Apparently its not too hard to interface the two, but the software part, now thatès a challenge. It would be tough to convert the g-code to a format the PIC can understand. And the speed, etc, would be tough to decode and code effectively. Thanks. Sanghera. |
