Fuse Selection

Dear all,

I would like to choose fuses for my picstep but i'm not sure from value. As you know LMD18245 is 55V 3A and my motor is also 3V 3A. So i have 2 choice. First one is 2.5A and second one is 3A. And i'm also confused that Picstep has 2 LMD. So Picstep needs 3A or 2 LMD x 3A = 6A?

The motor has 2 windings and each is driven by its own lmd18245. If you want fuses in line with each motor winding then go with the 3A (times 2 - fuse the A1out and the B1out). If you want one fuse on the motor supply voltage line (the Vcc line, connector 2 pin 1) then I guess you would need to go with the 6A.
