    PIC Variable frequency drive

    Hello All

I am interested in building a Variable Frequency Drive for controlling a 3 phase motor .75kw with single phase input.

is there anyone ever saw any similar project on the web from where i can get any ideas

    thanks

You can make an idea about complexity of the schematics from here:

All brushless RC motors are 3 phase motors, controlled with variable frequency [rectangular voltage], but are powered with low voltage/high curent (16V/20A for exampe).
You have not specified what nominal voltage is your motor.

you asked for a project from where you can get ideas, not for a ready-to-use solution.
Don't get ilusions, schematic from my link is 10 times simpler than what you need.

On the Microchip website there are a lots of application notes on controlling AC induction and other motors.

You can do it with a 18F pic or a DSP pic
