I am interested in using a PIC device to take signals from an accelerometer, and create step and direction signals in response that will upright the mechanism. I do not have any experience with C programming, so I am posting these questions. I intend to send step and direction signals to a gecko drive>
I realize that most micro controllers allow pulse generation. Is there a way to precisely adjust/control the "ramping up" of the signal (thus, the acceleration of my servo)?
I would like to be able to adjust the acceleration of my servo based on a few other inputs.
I am also taking PIC recommendations, as I do not know what all is out there.
The MicroChip site has lots of application data on steppers, also free development software.
