steppendriver??

I have build a machine too , and i use a home build steppendriver with a L297 & L6203.. (www.arjan-swets.com)


It works alright . Later a saw that there also are microsteppers.

because my machine works much beter on half step than full step, I think more steps is better??

and is there a internetpage with a homebuild microstepper....?

Welcome....stepperdriver....when you say your machine works better with half step then with full step....how are are you determining that it works better??

Microstepping may or may not be better, depends on the application and the specific driver. The a3977 on my website is a microstepper. http://pminmo.com

it works smoother on halfstep....

but now everything works alright...
fast and don't miss any step....

so.. don't build a micro stepper?
a thought maybe it is beter?
