| ICD2 clones ? Anyone got experience with the ICD2 clones available on ebay ? "Easy ICD2" / Bankok "ICD2/ICD" / Toronto "OLIMEX PIC-TINY-ICD2" / UK they are all about 45 USD I'd like to do ICSP programming of a dsPIC30F3011 using the MPLAB IDE, possibly with the C30 compiler. About 130eur+ for the microchip ICD2 seems a bit pricey... andy |

| dude you do not want to buy one of ebay, i built one for about 15 dollars cdn. or about 12 bucks us. Goto Lothars site and build one of the pic designs. I built mine on a board with just the holes and then wired between. Works great and its cheap. The software is avaliable from microchip for free, and you can get the chips you need as samples from both microchip and maxim and the rest you should be able to get cheap. Lothars icd2 clone, check through his forums for ideas and what others have done. http://stolz.de.be/ As well you may want to check into these forums and see what other clones are out there. http://www.edaboard.com Also for alot of pic projects a subscription to epeonline is cool aswell. http://www.epemag.com/
