I am really new to cnc and need help identifying an older controller. Heres what I know so far. No name on the outer box. The box contains a parallel port on what I will call the mother board. This mother board is 1.875" x 9.75". The name on the board is J&S Products P/N 0373B. It has 2 PIC chips # PIC16C54 with date code 9408. Connected to the Mother Board are 2 daughter boards. One for each axis X & Y. The motors are Eastern Air Devices Stepping Motors 3.1v 2ph 5.0A 1.8deg 4 wire. The box runs on 120v AC and the transformer steps it down to 40v DC. The Mother Board has sockets for 2 more PIC chips marked Z & M. I believe the controller still works but not real sure. When I power up the motors lock up as expected. I do not have any software with this system. It came with a CPU box but the hard drive was gone. Can anyone help me ID this controller and better yet tell me what software to use with it.
