Spindle Speed Issues: !Please Help!

Hi all,

I have the following setup.

A Fimec 5 kw Spindle controlled be a Delta VFD
This VFD gets its signal (0-10vDC) from a Soundlogic Serial Spindle Control Card which in turn is controlled by Mach 3.

My problem is that the spindle slows down after about 5 mins of running. The output voltage of the soundlogic card remains constant through all of this.

Eventually the VFD Goes into a overload mode (because of the low speed )and the spindle motor stops.

Any Ideas?

Are there any free online guides / tutorials on how to set up a VFD?
