Here is the basic rundown. I am looking to pickup a used bridgeport with prototrak MX2(meaning the y and z are power feed, and the x is just a digital readout). Can I make this machine function normal(feeds and speeds programed in protrak) using single phase and an RPC? Getting 3 phase power to my shop is out of the question as its way out of my budget. I guess what I want to know is will a RPC accomplish this or is being able to program the feeds of the power axis only attainable using true 3 phase power? The motor speed(if it matters or not) is not CNC controlled, it uses a handle to adjust speed. Thanks in advance and I am sure this has been covered but for the life of me I can not find it using search! I apologize in advance |
