Hello all I have a lathe with a 1hp 120v motor and a annoying 3 pulley setup I came across a 1hp 3phase motor I would like to use with a vfd my question is wil the torque of a 3~ at say 20 hz with a constant torque vfd be enough? or will it be reduced by 1/3 when compared to the torque multiplication I get from changing pulleys?
