I have a lathe and mill in my basement. I just finished hooking up a static phase convertor thru a 7.5HP electric motor ot make an RPC by following the static pahse converter manufacturer's instructions. Final hookup to the machines is in sight. Now I thought I'd look into a VFD to be able to vary the spindle speed on the lathe, but from what I read here it seems that its either VFd or RPC but not both? Did I go the wrong way? |
