Buy me a Beer?

Is this a replacement you have fitted, or are you trying to set up the original?
If you don't have the manuals, they are on the MEAU site.

Al.

Are you sitting comfortably.

Spindle was slow to get to speed.
Engineer reset FREQROL Z300 UL back to factory settings.
Now Machine will run ok up to 2500rpm but wont tool change
Above 2500rpm machine wont run Inverter shows over current fault.
New motor was fitted due to problem found when trying to rectify.
Definate Inverter problem, has been proven.
I believe there are settings wrong in the inverter (My opinion)

As of today we have ordered a mitsubishi Inverter, from a Mitsubishi agent in USA due to Fadal not being able to get us a replacement inverter for 6 to 8 weeks ( The machine has already been down for 6 weeks)

I would like to know is there anyone who has setup and inverter in one of these machines . and how to do it (idiots guide)
Cheers

I use mits freqtrol series on all my presses if one they are one thing they are consistant, I use alot of e series and u series they are all set the same. You more then likely have a one of the outputs or relay set so that tool change only happens when the machine spindle is fully stopped, the factory setting on all of there drives sets the relays to turn off when stopped. You can change that as all mentioned you should be able to pull up the manual online, mits manuals are a little hard to digest they do things in a different light. Factory setting will also reset the maxium current setting its something like Pr.3 or Pr.4 its one of the first ones.

We have been having trouble getting the drives as of late and when we do we are finding that they are replacing the drives with newer models, have your local dealer check and make sure they are not superseded that might free up your time constraints if you do need to order one.
