Which Vfd for my sander?

Im about to purchase this sander/grinder and I need to convert it to singlephase I was just wondering If you guys reccomend a vfd or a static phase convertor. Im new to vfd's and dont have any expeirence with them I have basic electrical skills. Im just not sure what would be best. Any help is appreciated thanks

Not sure what you are trying to do? If the one you want only comes in 3 phase then you have a couple of choices, either a phase convertor from 1 phase to 3ph, or a VFD, usually you do not require speed control on a grinder, but with a VFD you would have the choice.
If you want to convert a 3 phase motor to 1 ph you will need to change the motor, as these 1ph motors are split phase, and you cannot run a VFD on them.

I just wanna get it running of 1 phase power since thats all i have. I just wanna do whatever is cheaper either vfd or phase convertor. i havent found a vfd's for 4hp motors that will work from single phase power on 3 phase motors
