I'm looking at a milling machine that has a 7.5/10 hp spindle - does this mean the spindle puts out 10 HP peak ? and 7.5 is max sustained HP ? Or what ? Anyways, I already have a new 10 HP RPC, would this run this machine ? Thanks for any replies. |

| Usually that is 7.5hp continuos, 10hp for 30minutes. I have always understood that a RPC will run a motor equal to the RPC motor, this is due to the spindle motor now in parallel to the RPC motor, this does not apply to non-motor loads. Al.
