I spoke with "Al the Man" about this a while back. But I thought I would see if there is anyone in the Vancouver B.C. area that might allow me to visit their facility so I can check out their (Auto - Start) Rotary Phase Converter. Just to get a visual as to how everything is wired in. And if possible where to find a good, least expensive 20 HP Motor and electrical component supplier for run capacitors, push buttons, timers, timer relays etc. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. -W Last edited by Wendell; 08-31-2006 at 07:22 PM. |

Look for good used 3 phase motors at your motor supplier/rewind shops, if you are looking for 220 they are usually cheaper. If you intend buying timers relays etc, look at using a smart relay like Siemens Logo, they are also made by Omron, Idec and others, (identical). Cheap on ebay. The will allow you to program logic with less hardware. Al. |
