    VFD for Rong Fu 25

    Hi,

I can buy a brand new VFD from ABB (type ACS200) for a low price.
It's rated at 0.75Kw. My mill is also 0.75Kw. DOes anybody know if it would be wise to use this, or should I go for a "heavier" version?
I want to control the RPM using Mach3 and this VFD.

    Thankx,
    Adryan

You mean VFD? This is single ph to 3Ř? For .75kw I don't think you would have to derate on 1Ř. Pys to check with the specs though.

It is a single phase 220VAC input, 3x220VAC output see link: http://stevenengineering.com/Tech_Su...s/35ACS200.pdf

Al, what do you mean by derating on one phase?
