huanyang HY02D223B for PM1236 lathe

I am in the process of upgrading my pm1236 lathe to a 2hp 3phase 1750 motor and HY02D223B vfd. Just wondering if anyone has done this or comparable upgrade. any programming info would be helpful. Also connecting switches on the carriage control handle,pot set up and placement, and any other info would be great

I just powerd up a HUANYANG ELECTRONICS 4hp vfd on a Baldor 3 phase motor. I'm still checking programming to make sure I have it set up correctly, but it spins. The vfd is from ebay and was $126 shipped to MN. A good deal. Case was chipped and they sent parts in under 2 weeks. Good Service.

Let me know your experience level and questions. I knew nothing about these 2 months ago so am making progress.

I knew very little about VFDs before I started this project. I have been educating my self with this forum and many others. It has been a fun adn interesting project and I still have a lot more to learn. I got running today and heres a video of it

Heres my first test with it running on the lathe. I have the lathe set on 65rmp. There is a high speed squeal coming from the motor when the vfd is running it(not sure of the cause yet) Also I need tachometer to see what the actual rmp the motor is turning at. Im not sure what the bearing in the lathe are rated for or what they can handle. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated
