I am putting some finishing touches on my homemade mill and I am trying to get Mach 3 to control the
spindle motor. It is a 220v 3 phase motor and I have been using a 110 single phase to 220 3 phase vfd for control.
I was looking to run the wiring from the breakout board (CNC4PC C11G) to the terminal stip on the
VFD, but I am not sure what wires go where.
Below is what I have so far, but I am not sure if it is right.
From the Breakout board, I have 6 wires: 0-10VDC, ground, and 4 wires from the relays. I have the 0-10VDC on terminal 5 of the VFD, ground on terminal 2, 2 of the wires from the relays on terminal 13A and 13B (forward and reverse), and I am not sure where the other 2 wires from the relays go (the are labeled V IN on the BOB) and in some of the wiring diagrams from CNC4PC they appear to go to a "logic common terminal" or "DCM" depending on the VFD they are referencing. These relays are Electromechanical and can either be NO or NC. I currently have them wired NO.
So, do I have the correct wires going anywhere near the correct terminal? Where do the last 2 wires from the relays go?
Any guidance is appreciated. I don't want to fire this thing up until I know it is right.
Dan
I have made an excel spreadsheet up to show what connections are available on the VFD.
