Hey im needing to rewire a coolent pump on my lathe from 440 to 240 3phase but it has no voltage wireing diagram found a diagrame for nine wires but itshows 440v to bewired the same for wye or delta but 240 is different I have 240 servce with a nutral and that comeing out of a rotory converter and was wondering if it would be wye or delta Thanks ahead of time  |

| The pump would be wired for star or (wye) on 440 or delta on 240. How come you have a neutral on a RPC? Al.

| I dont on the rpc my main service has a neutral i just said that because i wasnt sure what my service was but from reading more it looks like its delta So is what you are saying is all 230v 3phase is going to be delta |

| Not necessarily, It does not make any difference what your source is. The impact of Delta or Wye connection depends on how you need to wire the motor up to suit the source voltage. Al.
