I have a high inertia load driven by a Large AC Electric Motor (800 KW). I need the driven load to be slowed down to preset speed levels, each slower than the Drive Motor rated Speed. Each of the lower speed settings will be mantained for upto 3 to 5 minutes and the driven equipment then taken back to drive motor rated speed. During the slowing process, I would like to regenerate the power developed by the braking effect. As my knowledge of VFDs and other drives is limited, I am seeking help in selecting the right Regen drive manufacturer & the right Regen drive to achieve the above. Advice from anyone with this kind of experience will be most helpful. Thanks. |
