Red face Setting up and controll the vfd in mach3 why?

Hello, i have a friend here and help me to wire up some of the cnc stuff...

When we try to turn on/off the vfd trough mach3 it does not work.
we put the files in the plugin folder, but on the plugin tab on the top of mach3 is just the "video window" tab....

Can someone tell me what i do wrong?

In addition to the Mach setup, you most likely have to change some "Function" settings in the VFD

The VFD requires the analogue signal converted from the PWM in Mach and also the FWD or RUN command input to be turned on, which are you missing?
Or are both occurring but the VFD does not respond, if so it may be due to what Bubba alluded to.

Sounds like your plugin is not installed. If it has an .mp3 extension, then double clicking should install it. Restarting Mach3 should have it listed.

I'm assuming this is the plugin for the Chinese VFD?

I have not wired like this picture ( http://www.cnczone.com/forums/attach...6&d=1256629138 ) but i have the wires from rs+ to A and from rs- to B..... try both but it didn`t work.

I think the problem is that i can`t get the drivers in the mach3... Do someone have some other plugin files for me ?

I get up the huanyang plugin in the plugin control meny, but the PD001 and PD002 is value 99 instead for 2. Same com port, same vfd adress. The vfd has PD001 and PD002 value 2.

    But it still don`t work.

The two wires from Rs+/rs- to A/B, if i use a multimeter, should some of the wires been in contact when the power is on?

    Some tip?

    Hello agian....

Out of nowhere the spindel just would not work.
When i go to huanyang vfd in the plugin controll, i see the pd001 and pd002 has value 99 instead of 2... Last time it wouldnt work because the chip inside of the vfd was not assembled correctly...

    Some tip?
