Hi, got the teco and special shielded wire and have the teco and the mill wired. When I applied power to the teco the display light HZ/RPM was on and the display read 5.00 . If I hit the DSP/FUN button the display went to 6000 and the FUN light was lit. I pushed the DSP/FUN button and went back to the HZ/RPM light being lit and read out was at 5.00 . I hit the RUN/STOP button and the mill started up. The rpm seemed low and I hit run/stop button and shut it down. My question is should I when the HZ/RPM light is lit (in DSP mode) and the display reads 5.00 should I use the up button and run that up to somthing higher? What do you suggest? Also the knob FREQ SET does not do anything. Is that not used? If so in what mode? I wired this 220 1 phz from my breaker box to the L1 L3 terminals in the teco and used T1,T2 and T3 to hook up the 1 hp motor on the bridgeport series 1 mill. Im reading through the book but it is over my head. Any help appreciated. thanks Last edited by cruzin; 10-12-2010 at 05:38 PM. Reason: to many zeros |

| I have did some reading and figuring this drive out. I was mistaken about the DSP readout having 6000 its b000 for the programing. Still have not figured that out yet. But I did take the HZ up to 60.00 and tried the mill and it works great. It someone has one of these teco drives and knows how to set up the dial to be able to run the speed up and down with it would be helpful to me. thanks |
