am starting to buy the parts to convert to a 2.2 KW spindle. I have purchased the Hitachi X200-022NFU inverter. One page of the manual says to use a 30 amp breaker (220V single phase) and the back of the unit says the input current is 22.5 amps. However, a different page of the manual says the U.S. version (which this is) requires 13 amps (the EU version requires 22.5 amps). Does anyone know what size of breaker is truly needed. The 13 amp requirement sounds much more realistic to me than does 22.5 amps. I would think a 20 amp breaker would be sufficient for a 2.2 KW drive. |
