this might not be the right place to ask this question but I am trying to see if this is possible can I use this motor an a lathe. http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/DAY...176?Pid=search |

| You will not be able to use a VFD with it as it is 1 phase, also you will need a large enough service at 35 FLA. For around the same money, you most likely would get a VFD and a 3 phase motor, if you shop around. Al.
