I recently purchased a Bridgeport EZTRAK SX. I have not powered it up. I am wavering between building a rotary phase converter or buying a VFD. I like the idea of a VFD but I have no idea about how to size one for this machine. Would anyone like to offer advice as to size and make of a VFD? Thanks, Ernie |

I can tell you the easiest way to figure out what size VFD you would need, provided you will use the same motors, would to give automationdirect.com a call. They have some very good folks over there, and will really help you out, not just try to sell you something. GS2 vfds are simple to setup, but can handle a lot different apps. be sure to get the proper power protection. It will save you a headache or two, and maybe a few dollars. 1.800.633.0405 |
