    Calibrating your bit for pcb-gcode

    I have had a number of people contact me after I posted my "height-probing" stuff, and I spot a trend that people do not calibrate the width of isolation their bit leaves, with the result that pcb-gcode generates wrong G-code.

    I've put up a page explaining how I calibrate the width of bits for pcb-gcode.

    Hi there.

    I would like to ask that if we know the

    Effective Truncation and Included Angle and off course the depth of cut we want to use then we could work out the amount of track removal...

    Here is an example of my engraving bit I will use
