Charliex,
Nice work, looks like you picked the right machine! How long did it take to cut?
I spent a lot of time reading the threads on cnczone, sparkfun and many other places about SMD PCB milling, i looked at so many machines, threads over the weeks , that i ended up with more questions than answers. Finally I got a test PCB made with the A360.
Here are the results that i thought i'd share, and thanks to all the other people who posted info about their machines and experiences..

I went nuts and scanned it at 600dpi
So here is a zip file @ 33MB for those who want a really close look.

Wow that is very nice! I read the specs on the A360, very nice machine with a nice price tag. besides the time it took I would be interested in knowing what cutter used was. As well what software is being used to develop the gcode.
3 1/2 hours, their software has a realtime simulate mode too where you can watch what the machine would be doing, camera mode too (with the machine)
Board was created in protel, exported as a gerber into their software PhCNC, three layers top, bottom, and drill and off it went.
Don't know about the cutter sorry.

I ended up upgrading to the 560 H model, should be here in a few days, its been a long month waiting!
Larger work area and also can use it for small cnc work.
Machine arrived today, i threw some lowres pics on my 'blog'/scratchpad, i haven't finished unpack/setup yet.

Its a V90 isolation bit, if that means anything to you!
Well apparently i didn't know what a v90 isolation bit looks like, it certainly does not look like a drill bit though ! So i finally got my first PCB decent, here's a before and after right/wrong bit (again)..
I have another PCB on the machine thats more complex ( its a ninja badge! ) but i'm leaving it on there til i drill it tomorrow.
Making some good progress now I think.
Yes doing some really nice work there.
thanks!
I did my first double sided board and cut the PCB with the router bit, I think for my first attempt ever i did pretty well. This circuit is a SuperProbe, but its just a simple 10mil autoroute so there are some layout problems to fix. I just wanted a simple double sided test.
Now let's see you solder itwhat are you going to use for a mask?
