    It works!

Behold the wart zapper from Thomas Scarborough. Built it and ran it against 3 ugly warts that I have been trying to rid myself of for 3 or 4 years.

I won't post any photos of said warts

Ok, now on to a relay control for the Wolfgang spindle.

I need a relay control for my WG spindle to. What motor are you using with your spindle?
Glad to hear you zapped your unwanted growths

The one wolfgang supplies. Just a simple AC line voltage motor. Fixxit (another member) told me he located a source for these but he couldn't remember where he saw them. If this one goes, I'll be looking at a BL motor for RC cars w/ BL controller. To me all the noise comes from the AC motor (the brushes maybe).

Yeah I'm glad to be rid of these things. Fingers look like hell right now as I went medieval on them but I can see/feel them shrinking day by day.

Maybe we should start a new thread with Wolfgang in the topic so it will be better searchable.

    45 degree tool

I decided to see what my results would be with a drewtronics 45 degree bit. The photos are from my new USB microscope

The first photo is with the 60-degree, set to .003" tool width, .003" DOC, and .003" step over

The second I changed it to .0015" step over.

    Soldermask on demand

Well after the vitreous paint experiment failed I went looking for other possibilities.

Here are some results. Apologies for lousy camera work.

hey Zig, that looks really good. Have you shared the tool bit(s) you use to get such
    nice traces?

I'm looking at switching from a through-hole design to a SMD design and I'm a little lost. I hope I can get results near what you have produced.
My main hurdle is in Eagle and designing the PCB to fit the FREE version restrictions? Are there and do's & Don'ts for designing SMD circuits in Eagle?

    Thanks
    Brent
