I have a 40 ft pool and for this summer we will be having the battle of the Atlantic all over again
I will have 2 RC water craft; one a Corvette class sub hunter; the other a Uboat; yes it will dive
Both are current kits from Revell of Germany; both are under $80 and good value for money; scale is1/72nd; so both are a very good size indeed


The CNC is getting to make some cool stuff for the projects; the propshaft with bronze bearings for the Corvette; and the water tight compartment for the Uboat and more stuff of course

here is the front seal of the WTC; it will have in fact 2 compartments; the front will be the drive motor batteries; 5 AA cells arranged like a revolver in 2 stacks; the NiMh batteries will be 2400Ah and will provide lots of running time
The second compartment will be main motor and RC gear; this is 2inch OD semi clear plastic tube; and I can get 16" inside the hull; lots of room
